amenhotep 4. changed his name to akhenaton.
worshipped amun-ra. changed the capital, changed the dynasty god...
he had this disease because of extensive intermarriage of the family to preserve the blood line which made his fingers and toes too long and hips too large. or maybe he just wanted tochange the artform like everything else.
when his tomb was found, ppl thought that they'd finally know. they opened the sarcophagus and his bones crumbled into dust.
